2024 SBC Awards: Celebrating iGaming’s Best and Brightest in Lisbon
The 2024 SBC Awards lit up Lisbon as the iGaming industry’s finest gathered for a night of recognition and celebration. Held at the iconic MEO Arena on 26 September, the event marked the conclusion of the SBC Summit and saw over 1,200 professionals honouring the year’s most impressive achievements across 39 categories.
A Night of Triumph - Headline Winners
The SBC awards ceremony highlighted the companies and individuals who have redefined the iGaming industry in 2024. At the top of the leaderboard, Kaizen Gaming took home both Casino Operator of the Year and Operator of the Year, continuing their winning streak. Betsson Group claimed Sportsbook Operator of the Year, while Campeón Gaming and Retabet shone in the Medium and Small Operator of the Year categories.
New talent also took centre stage, with Vegas Legends and Boomerang Partners bagging the awards for Rising Star in Casino and Rising Star in Sports Betting. Affiliate excellence was on full display as bet365 Partners secured Best Affiliate Program.
A Spotlight on Creativity and Innovation
Innovation was at the heart of this year’s awards. Soft2Bet swept two key categories, winning for Innovation in Mobile and Innovation in Casino Entertainment. Meanwhile, Coolbet took the spotlight with their Innovation in Casino & Gaming Entertainment award, and Novibet impressed with the Marketing Campaign of the Year.
Leadership was celebrated too, with SOFTSWISS taking the Employer of the Year title and the Leader of the Year award going to Corinne Valletta (Betsson), Marina Ostrovtsova (BGaming), and Uri Poliavich (Soft2Bet).
Tech Giants and Top Suppliers
Tech and supplier categories were fiercely contested. IDnow retained their title as Fraud & Compliance Solution of the Year, while Pay4Fun and Noda stood out with wins for Payment Innovation and Payment Solution of the Year. Slot developers also had a strong showing, with Pascal Gaming, Wazdan, and Pragmatic Play claiming top prizes in their respective categories.
